HyperX2 is Chyron’s new top-of-the-line on-air graphics system. The turnkey system combines the award-winning Lyric® PRO 7 motion graphics feature set with a newly implemented video graphics processor that delivers more than twice the performance of its predecessor.
The HyperX2 graphics engine can simultaneously manipulate dozens of 3D layers of text, logos textures and movie objects, all in real-time. The mature, intuitive Lyric PRO 7 software platform provides precise control over every transition and effect with a broad array of adjustments already familiar to users of 3D creation tools and NLE’s.

The HD/SD-switchable HyperX2 is scalable with up to two independent HD/SD channels, optional DVE, eFX Clips and Lyric PRO 7 advanced creation and playout. An open platform ensures interoperability, so that HyperX2 can take maximum advantage of the latest innovations by integrating the most current video processing hardware. The HyperX2 features seamless creation-to-playout capability, real-time 2D/3D animation and a host of hardware and software features, including 2D and 3D object import, Advanced Text and Image Effects, Intelligent Interface® and DB Link update, and macro creation/execution.

Lyric PRO 7 features continuous graphics rendering, which allows persistent objects to remain on-screen throughout multiple message reads. Independent animation elements can be smoothly taken on and off air at any time. Live broadcast requires the ability to follow the action, and Lyric PRO 7’s multiple timelines within a message provide a variety
of customized “in,” “out” and “update” effects which can be triggered in any order. Interactive Messages can also trigger events such as live update, within themselves or other messages. Lyric PRO 7’s dynamic playout environment works in tandem with powerful graphics creation features, including live particle effects and complex, hierarchical animations-within-animations, for a truly spectacular look.

MicroX’s supreme flexibility supports the import and export of numerous standard file types, and automatic aspect ratio conversion. Familiar, timeline-based animations and drag-and-drop scene building emulate the leading nonlinear editing applications, making the MicroX easy to learn and limitless in its capability. Each object and its attributes are controllable from discrete timelines, and on-screen motion paths provide pinpoint accuracy. Pages can be tied together with customizable transitions that add dynamic continuity and complexity.
The Lyric PRO 7 option, providing advanced graphics and playout, is now available for the MicroX systems.

Channel Box is an HD/SD-switchable channel branding and automated promo system, featuring 2D/3D design and playout for branding applications, including tickers, crawls, snipes, “bag & tag,” promos and end-credits. The system’s real-time video, graphics effects, clips and audio can be integrated with automation systems, or the system can be used as a standalone branding device. Channel Box is offered in two configurations to fit the needs of your facility:
Channel Box HA is a high-availability configuration with RAID storage in a server-grade chassis with redundant power supply, for critical placement in the video stream.
The standard configuration of Channel Box provides dual striped drives with a single power supply.

Build a station promo just once and let Channel Box insert new voice-over tags, text and graphics during the live broadcast day.
